  1. My daughter is recuperating from a hospital stay, we will be chillin together- grateful we have each other. Thanks to those who lost their lives serving our great country so that we could have this day off!

  6. I am a Happy Camper (those who follow Camp Wander! lol). With one child leaving the house the other is moving to the bigger room. So this weekend will be full of cleaning, painting and heavy lifting. I am glad for the extra day so we can rest and have fun in-between work.

  14. We live on the ocean so whatever we do will involve salt water! Also making a double adirondack chair with a built in table between the chairs. Got all the pieces cut and sanded now need to prime, paint, and put it together.

  20. I'm chillin' with Pinterest this weekend. My plans to camp have been waylaid by a broken hip - which was pinned (how appropriate)- 2 weeks ago. Dry air and an inability to get socks on by myself has left my heels in a mess. I could use your miracle cure!
    It is good to have this Memorial Day to remember those who have fought and even died for our freedom - bless them all!

  23. Thanks to our veterans. We owe our freedom to the sacrifices they have made. I have recently discovered your site and love the great tutorials sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor and common sense. Makes me think I can do all these things. Can't wait to try the worm tower and manure tea.

  26. I will be watching my oldest daughter march in the Memorial Day Parade with the band for the 1st time!! So proud of her!! Then off to work for a few hours and back to have a cookout with the family!!

  27. I am on the mend from a hospital stay after throwing my back out so it is a staycation here. No worries though, back porch is pretty much set so I can enjoy outdoor time with hubby.
