ReplyDeleteDrink lots of water and stay out of the sun!
ReplyDeletelove to use baking soda as a skin scrub once a week.
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil...that's all. I use it to cleanse, remove eye makeup in seconds! and moisturize :) It's WONDERFUL!!
ReplyDeleteI have never done anything special for my face. The wrinkles are coming i would really like to learn some secrets.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see a 'before' and 'after' picture, but it sounds edible as well as spreadable! My mother started all her girls on at LEAST once a day moisturising from about age 12, so that has always been normal for me. Leather-skinned old age is not for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the oil cleansing method!
ReplyDeleteStaples I stand by; sunscreen, H2O, & moisturizer (I prefer doTerra's ani-aging moisturizer)
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil is a girls best friend.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard when you have a crazy busy life, but it is a must to remove all makeup at the end of the day, mositurize, drink plenty of water and don't forget to get some sleep.
ReplyDeleteRecently started using coconut oil on my face. I have very sensitive skin so I'm very careful about what I use.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmama always used vitamin E oil! She kept a bottle out and as she was working around the house she'd put it on, several times a day!! She had beautiful skin!!
ReplyDeleteLove your posts!!!! I have just started using coconut oil in my hair....leave on for half hour wash 2_3 times love my hair!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCucumbers slices on tired eyes and tea bags when I just need to relax.
ReplyDeleteTea Tree Oil, and oil cleanse.
ReplyDeleteI use the doTERRA Facial Cleanser. Sometimes I make a scrub with brown sugar and olive oil!!!
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil! Love it and what it does for my skin. All in one skin care that is very inexpensive!
ReplyDeleteOnce a week I add a small amount of baking soda with my facial wash to exfoliate and deep cleanse my skin, followed by Vitamin E cream with a drop of Geranium EO.
ReplyDeleteI love to use Melaleuca oil to curb those nasty clogged pores. I apply it to the nose and forehead after I cleanse at night. It has really helped! I also loved oatmeal and lavender as a gentle scrub. Fabulous and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteLove Melaleuca for spot treatment :)
ReplyDeletehealthy diet - fruits and veggies!
ReplyDeleteLove all the tips! I'm going to have to try some... I don't have the greatest skin. Currently using doTerra's clear skin and love it!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite makeup remover and moisturizer in a.m. and p.m. Coconut oil, vitamin E and lemon essential oil. Love my skin!
ReplyDeleteAlways use sunscreen and moisturize!

ReplyDeleteRaw honey and fresh aloe- sooo nourishing.
ReplyDeleteHomemade scrubs
ReplyDeleteMoisturize morning and night. Beginning using coconut oil this week.
ReplyDeleteJust love Beyond Organic's skin care - non-toxic, all natural, truly pure! And DoTerra's Clear Skin for blemishes.

One of the things I like doing is using baking soda as an exfoliant. Yep just add a dab of water and make a paste.. Lightly massage into face. It works wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI would like to enter the give away, I don't do facebook but do follow your blog.
Cleaning my face with oatmeal, morning and night :)
ReplyDeleteI like to use an avocado and honey facial mask.
ReplyDeleteUsing Sandalwood and Frankincense on sun damaged facial skin....they are vanishing!
ReplyDeleteMy best skin care secret is not a secret. I don't use chemical soaps or creams or cleansers. I go for natural products and organic ones when they make budget sense. I also wash my face before bed and stay out of the sun.
ReplyDeletebody butter/cream for my dry skin
ReplyDeleteolive oil infused with herbs before bed, Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) mixed with water as a toner and then coconut oil as the "cream". :) :) would love to try this though, I had never heard of this oil until today! :)
ReplyDeletei dont know how it showed up like that but, my name is Denise and my email is MessyMaven@aol.com. :)
DeleteI'm loving the oil cleansing method. First time my skin hasn't been too dry or too oily!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to use the oil cleansing method and I'm loving it!!!
ReplyDeleteMy best skin care is natural...I had very oily skin when I was younger, now...at age 61, I have very few wrinkles. All I have to do with my face is was it with (natural)soap and water. I would love to try the Immortelle though!
ReplyDeleteTea Tree oil. I use it on everything from scars, dry scalp, zits, toe nails, and even shower mildew remover!! One oil I have fallen in love with!
ReplyDeleteI started using OCM and honey as my cleanser and jojoba oil for moisturizing!
ReplyDeleteI started using the Oil Cleansing Method and love it so far! No more dry patches! I also use Vitamin E oil on my face. I'm hoping to get rid of the scars on my face from constant past breakouts.
ReplyDeleteJust a smidge of coconut oil on the crows feet right before I go to bed. So smooth the next morning!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Liked and shared too!!
ReplyDeleteI use coconut oil on my skin... to take off makeup, moisturize morning and night after washing. I also use it all over my body after a shower while my skin is still slightly wet. It's especially great to keep your feet soft.
ReplyDeleteI also do a baking soda scrub (mixed with a bit of facial cleanser) every so often. Makes my skin feels so soft!
I liked and shared on FB, too!
ReplyDeleteI have always used one brand and kind of moisturizing cleanser on my face. My grandmother used it and my mom, aunts, sisters, daughters, nieces, etc. have all used it. Not sure if I should share a product name. But I would love to try doTerra. I am quickly becoming a big fan of theirs. Thank you for the chance to try this product.
ReplyDeleteI am a newcomer to doterra products. Just received my first items last week. I already LOVE them. I started applying the melaleuca oil to an arising blemish. It went away and never surfaced. I'm addicted. Can't wait to try immortal!
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is a splash of cold water at the end to close up your pores.

I like to use baking soda to scrub my face in the shower and then use coconut oil and frankinsence to moisturize. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteI liked and shared on FB
ReplyDeleteI use 2 T coconut oil, 2 cups water, and 1 Tablespoon body wash in a foaming containing in the shower instead of full strength body wash. I love the way it makes my skin feel. I also use Vitamin E oil on the scars from BC surgery. The Plastic Surgeon said it didn't make much of a difference, but I like to feel I'm doing something to soften up the scar tissue!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to using essential oils and loving it. I heard doTERRA is the best!
ReplyDeleteI try not to do much to my skin. Although I'm working on making a moisturizer for it :) I've had essential oils since college yet managed to forget about them. I'm returning back to nature through a life move. Thank you for your blog rebecca, i enjoy following your adventures....and might start out with doTerra!
ReplyDeleteYour coconut oil face wash recipe of course!!!!
ReplyDeleteLiked & shared facebook page. I use dr. bronners soap or coconut oil but always looking for ideas
ReplyDeleteI use Aloe Vera gel. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe best part about oatmeal...you can use the cheaper "big" stuff & a coffee grinder to get a great "small" consistency for baths or facials! If you're short a coffee grinder, you can always put the large oats in a stocking & strain it in the bathtub! Also means no grainy mess to clean up after draining the water!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I never thought of the stocking idea!
