Pure Plant Essence or Diluted Fake??

There's a simple way to find out if your essential oils are pure plant essence or, a diluted fake.  Perform this test at home with a drop of essential oil on a piece of paper!

On the left side of the photo above, a drop of doTERRA pure essential oil or  "pure plant essence", was dripped onto a piece of paper. Directly below it, a drop of 100% pure essential oil purchased from a health food store.  The oils were allowed an hour to dry.

On the right of the paper notice doTERRA's "pure plant essence" has dried to invisible.  This is because pure essential oils are not oils at all but pure plant essence, this grade of purity won't leave oily residue behind.  The essential oil from the health food store has indeed left an oily mark because it has been diluted with a carrier base even though the manufacturer claims it's 100% Pure.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble folks but this is the kind of world we live in today.  Unscrupulous suppliers and half truth labels sitting on reputable shelves all over the country.

20  drops Bergamot

10  drops Grapefruit

10  drops Cypress

10  drops Frankincense

4  Ylang Ylang

2  Ginger

Blend and store in a glass bottle away from sunlight.
