Plantar Fasciitis is a Pain!

No, it's not a wart.

Plantar Fasciitis was a plague over the summer, a plague!  I do admit it was my fault, I spent too much time in flip flops or barefoot on tile floors.  My feet are happiest in a pair of hiking boots with foot beds so summertime is always a rude awakening for them. Short of donning hiking boots in the middle of summer, I did manage to find a few things that worked for me.

Ready Made Coconut Dots!

A Healthy Convenience!

I use so much coconut oil daily that I buy it by the gallon.  I fill a few small mason jars and keep them around the house but, the routine isn't exactly convenient.  Inevitably, honey, jam or oatmeal gets in the kitchen coconut oil jar (breakfast), and because I never seem to have a spoon in the bathroom, I end up sticking my finger in the jar for a little oil pulling.  Coconut Dots to the rescue!

I don't get sick, I don't!  I can be around sick kids, strangers, family and never get sick. Sounds pretty confident I know, but it's true...ask my husband, kids...anyone that knows me.

Newsflash: never let a one year old with a runny nose transfer a raisin from his mouth to yours.  I'm a Mom, we do things like that.

Alternative to Meds for Child & Adult ADD/ADHD

October is ADHD National Awareness Month and I'm taking the opportunity to shout good news and hope from {cyber} rooftops!!

There are natural alternatives to treating ADD and ADHD without medication.  There is hope.  There is a "different" way and you have the right to explore choices and even buck the system if need be.  I'm a mother of 5, I wish more than anything that someone had shared this enlightened thinking with me years ago.
