Pretty Toes With Fungal Woes! How To Get Toe Nails Pretty Again!

Don't worry!  I won't post any "revealing" photos of woeful toe nails...I'll try to keep this post as pretty as possible given our topic today :)

However, toe nail fungus is as common as the cold...so we need to put on our big girl panties OR briefs, and have this discussion!

It took me YEARS to come across this simple treatment on my own, hopefully I can save a few of you some time with this quick tip...

It's as simple as a bottle of {pure} Melaleuca, more commonly known as Tea Tree oil.  Melaleuca is a natural way to fight infections of skin tissue!  It has powerful antiseptic and antifungal properties.  Modern science has recently discovered that {pure} Melaleuca essential oil kills strains of MRSA and other super pathogens!

Simply moisten the end of a q-tip with {pure} Melaleuca EO and apply to affected toe nail, completely swab the nail, including underneath the nail as best you can.

Do this everyday!  Morning and night, if you have the time.  You will notice that the new nail growth will be healthy and pink.  If your nail has thickened because of fungal infection, it will eventually be replaced by normal nail growth!

Now go get those toes pretty again!

Apple Cider Vinegar is another good at home solution. I soaked a cotton ball in it and applied for 10 mins a day while catching up on Facebook.

Big girl panties?! I'm not sure what I read after that because I was laughing so hard but this is helpful especially in the summer when all my pedicure colors are dark dark dark. Good preventive measure- and I like the smell!

So glad you posted this. I just went to the doctor with nail issues this morning. I was highly discouraged when my doctor told me the medication he wanted to prescribe wasn't breastfeeding safe and then told me I should have been done nursing my daughter a long time ago. I'm not about to wean her just to take some pill he wants me to take so I am going to go full on with tea tree oil. Would adding frankincense help at all? My poor toe hurts so much because its changing the way my nail grows.

Tara use pure oils and be very consistent. Melaleuca, Oregano, Shield and even Frankincense can all be helpful. By the way, Frankincense might help with the inflammation as well as enhance the other oils you choose to use :)
