Lavender & Vanilla Facial Scrub!
Oh to walk into this picture and bury my face in lavender blooms...
While I can't offer you Summer just yet, I can give you a beautiful recipe for a Lavender and Vanilla infused facial scrub, will that suffice??
Most of us know by now how easy and inexpensive it is to make your own body and facial scrubs, literally costs pennies and takes five minutes to make! I'm always on the lookout for a good facial scrub however and this is a keeper! Hint: To change things up, try Geranium EO in a scrub too, such a great essential oil for your skin!
Simple Scrub Recipe
{options are endless, get creative with it!}
1 cup white or brown sugar (oatmeal can be added to the sugar)
1/2 cup almond oil (olive oil works but almond smells best)
1/2 teaspoon vitamin e, argan or emu oil
1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract
15 drops of Lavender essential oil
A mid winter treat that smells and feels amazing!
ENJOY!
Rebecca

Real simple, easy and sounds like it smells like summer! I'll give this a try ~
Rebecca, I've never made a sugar scrub before. Is this like a "single-use" recipe, or is it something that you could make up in a jar that would keep? I guess I'm asking if you mix up a bunch (like maybe even as a gift jar), does the sugar get all funky with the oils? Just a newbie curious....
I make an oatmeal lavender face scrub with coconut oil... So good. I'm gonna add in the vanilla in my next batch :)
Yes, you can make the recipe, keep it on your counter in a jar...it will last 6 to 8 weeks :)) Makes a wonderful gift too!
