The Joy of Diffusing ~ CW Favorite Blends

What's so Great About Diffusing??

The fragrance of our home is unique.  It's a fingerprint of all who live there, and it speaks volumes about it's inhabitants!  I think it's safe to say that we love walking into a home that smells of fresh laundry or baked bread, hot chocolate chip cookies or coffee brewing.  These aromas relax and comfort us, they induce a physical reaction and create memories that stay with us for a lifetime, the "fingerprint".

Zaq Noor

Unlike chemicals, EOs don't remain in the body and they leave notoxins behind.  Essential oils make sense as air purifiers and refreshers because they actually cleanse the air by altering the structure of the molecules creating the odor.

FYI!  Synthetic room scents only mask odors.

The science of fragrance is real.  When we understand that when synthetic scents fill our homes and our bodies with chlorofluorocarbons and other chemicals we can see the value of diffusing essential oils more clearly.  A home's signature scent should never be the instigator of migraines, allergies and ozone depletion.

I'm new to all of this essential oil stuff. I'm confused on what to buy first! And where to buy from. But what is confusing me is that Spark gives CW a discount and are the oils CW uses, is there something with PipingRock that is better, cheaper or ??? Thanks in advance!

This is awesome! I bought a diffuser for my sons room to sleep better. His room smells amazing! Our house by no means stinks! Lol...but his room is unreal. He keeps his door closed so he can keep the room fresh. As time goes on, I will have several more to fill my home! Thanks for the extra ideas! You are so helpful!

I am so happy I gave up my chemical laden room spray, candles, and wall plugins. I diffuse all over my home. We live a better life because of it! Thank you Shield for keeping us healthy, Lavender helps us sleep, and Zen lifts us up when we are down and moody! These are my main go to oils for diffusing.

With cold/flu season coming soon I would like to keep my family as healthy as possible but I have a few questions (I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old). Would I need to diffuse Shield and how often do I need to diffuse it (I'm a SAHM). Is it safe for my 4 month old? Also, how many diffusers do you need for a great room? Thanks so much!

Rebecca, which diffuser has the sm cups (?) to use the EO's so the ceramic disc doesn't get corroded so quickly? And any idea where I could find it?Thx, Pam

Gabrielle, diffusing Shield is a fabulous way to keep your air purified and airborne pathogens out of the air. If no one is sick in the house, feel free to diffuse other EOs too, they'll have much the same effect. Shield is brilliant though at knocking a bug out the door and helping to prevent sickness spreading should someone with a cold or flu come into the house :)

One good diffuser should be sufficient for your great room unless it's HUGE.

That would be the Whisper, available at Aroma Tools :) FYI, I've burned through 2 of them - they don't last forever either I'm afraid.

Thanks for the quick reply! The room is definitely not huge lol! Do you recommend one of the diffusers offered from SN, or another one? Nothing too expensive though please. I am excited to get one! And just to make sure, it's ok to diffuse EOs for my 4 month old, right? Thanks again!

Sorry- one more question :) How often should we diffuse it for it to be effective?

These blends sound great. I am wondering though--
How often should I diffuse & what duration for each diffusing session?

Charlene, you can diffuse as much as you like! However, the only caveat would be if you have a cat, your kitty may not appreciate it - they have a hard time processing EOs.

I will diffuse EOs for company to enjoy, and in order to help everyone to stay healthy, and also do some gifting of essential oils during this Holiday season.

I have been looking for a diffuser and this one looks awesome. I would share it with my daughter. I work at an Elementary school. I am the office manager which consists of nurse, detention place, lots of traffic. It would be nice to diffuse in the morning before the germs start coming in. My daughter has a day care in her home. This would be helpful for her and her family.

Regarding cats, would you suggest no diffusing with a cat in the house or just can constant or continuous use if diffuser?
