How to Create a Daily EO Routine
When I was introduced to essential oils it was all very exciting! I've always loved a natural approach to anything and the oils held such promise. I couldn't wait for my EOs to arrive and when they did, I tucked them safely away from harm. As the saying goes, "out of sight, out of mind".
To use your EOs to the fullest, you need to get comfortable with those little blue bottles. You do that by using your oils and creating your own habits and daily routine.
What would a daily routine look like?
Early morning: The first thing I want even before coffee is water. I keep a stainless steel SIGG water bottle on the kitchen counter filled with water and a couple drops of Lemon, this water bottle goes with me everywhere too.
Keep Your Citrus EOs Handy!
We know it's important to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Help yourself drink more water by adding 2 to 3 drops of a citrus essential oil. With every glass you're helping your body cleanse and detoxify. Lemon in your water will give you energy and reduce stress. Never underestimate citrus oils, they're important for depression, focus and infection too.
I keep a bottle of ACV and Shield near the coffee maker, this important spot on the counter helps me notice the bottles. After breakfast I add 2 drops of Shield Immunity Blend to a shot glass of ACV to keep the metabolism revved during the day and immunity boosted! I keep my bottle of Lemon by the water filter where I fill my water bottle. Catch my drift?
Keep your EOs mainstream by making them part of the household, out and about and all through the house :))
Zen Everyday
Make Zen a habit if you can. Both kids and adults will benefit from it's great recovery powers. Let's face it, our nervous systems take a hit each and every day, Zen helps to heal the damage our stress level invokes on our body. I keep this on my nightstand along with Dreamy Sleep Salve. It's also at my desk and anywhere I wander.
I do this most nights now but it took placing my EOs in plain sight for me to remember, kind of like a Post-it Note. Melaleuca and Shield reside on the back of the bathroom sink next to my toothbrush where I can't miss them.
Last but so not least, Frankincense! I take 2 to 3 drops under my tongue twice a day now. The bottle sits by the ACV and Shield so I remember each morning. It didn't take me long at all to get used to the taste, I almost crave it now. Frankincense is a powerhouse EO. It aids in decreasing stress, anxiety and depression, improved circulation, brain function and reduced joint pain. Frankincense is an anti-inflammatory and beneficial for chronic inflammation and, it's regenerative.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention diffusing as part of an EO users daily routine. I love diffusing! It's almost as important as my morning cup of coffee. I keep a few bottles of favorite EOs near my diffuser so I can easily refill when needed.
In summary, don't hide your oils away because they're precious and rare. Keep them in plain sight, get in the habit of using your oils everyday...they're meant to be used everyday. The goal is to bring EOs mainstream in your household! It's important to develop your own daily routine with your oils, you'll love them even more when you do.

love your e.o. wooden boxes. source?
Yes, please share
Great tips!
Do you take any EOs using gelcaps?
Yes, I do. If they're pure and labeled with a dietary standard, I feel safe in taking them internally either with a capsule or in a small bit of water.
What diffuser is this pictures above and where can I purchase one? Thank you
