Essential Oil Sticks ~ Take Wellness Where You Wander!
Wellness in an Altoids Tin!
We're a society of urban adventurers. We may make the same predictable commute day in and day out but, one never knows what unexpected obstacle may lurk on the street, subway, classroom or office on any given day! We may be away from home, but we're never far from wellness with a super handy Altoid Tin full of doTERRA EO Sticks geared to handle the toughest terrain and the gnarliest annoyances!
I propose keeping {3} EO sticks on your person at all times, including your basic vial of Lemon and Lavender!
Permit me to explain why I suggest these particular blends for the whole family!
Peppermint & Wild Orange for FOCUS:
{4 drops of each diluted in Fractionated Coconut Oil in a 5ml glass roll on applicator}
A wonderful blend when focus is needed. Kids benefit greatly from this blend. Teach them to how to use essential oils, they'll feel empowered and more in control of their well being if you show them how they can help themselves. So whether it's a long day in the classroom or an even longer day in the office, a FOCUS stick can help zero in on the matter at hand.
Our 5 yr.old grand daughter takes an EO Stick (Ginger & Fractionated Coconut Oil) to Kindergarten in her backpack and applies it to her tummy when needed! I just love that her Mom is teaching her about essential oils and that she's learning to take control of her wellness in such a simple and safe manner!
How to Apply: Simply roll~on wrists or back of neck.
No fear of over medicating, side effects, doesn't need refrigeration or to be taken with food, no worries of addiction or building up an immunity, no need for a prescription, no need to be administered by school staff and no stigma!
Balance & Bergamot for Centered Liveliness!
{4 drops of each diluted in Fractionated Coconut Oil in a 5ml glass roll on applicator}
One of my favorite combinations for feeling calm, cool and collected. Balance takes on stress, depression, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy and over stimulation. Almost immediately, a sense of calm is felt when applying this blend. Add Bergamot for an added kick of citrus zing! Let's face it, after lunch break...you need a little zing! While Balance calms, Bergamot wakes up the senses!
How to Apply: Same as above. All benefits apply!
On Guard to Ward Off Germs & Virus:
{8 drops diluted in Fractionated Coconut Oil in a 5ml glass roll on applicator}
Such an important blend of essential oils to have on hand at all times for both adults and kids! While some lucky kids or co~workers can work in a diffused environment, most can't. Keep your On Guard Stick handy for shielding you and your kids from nasty viruses and bacteria!
How to Apply: Roll on wrists, forearms or bottoms of your feet if you get the chance or roll some onto your finger and get it on your tongue. No need to worry about any germs that might be on that finger, On Guard will take care of those! Remember, this blend is able to penetrate cells thereby eradicating viruses where antibiotics cannot. Such a vital oil blend for prevention and wellness!!
There was room in the tin for 2 small vials, my choices were Lavender and Lemon because they're SO versatile!
Lavender for headaches, sunburn, bug bites, soothing cuts, burns and rashes, relaxing and all round amazing scent!
Lemon for sanitizing, add to water, stop runny nose, clear up cold sores, antibacterial, insect repellent, circulation mover, removes greasy, gummy stuff too!

I have always wanted to try essential oils and this would be a GREAT way to be introduced to them. To have EO sticks would make it easy to keep with me and have them accessible whenever I need them.
The roll on stick would make it much easier for my son to use. Actually my husband would be more likely to use the roll on also. I'm going to have to go back through your blog to find your source. I remember you posting about it not too long ago.
I've been doing a lot of research on using essential oils in the last couple of weeks and would LOVE to have them to try myself, but if I won I would give the Peppermint & Wild Orange for focus to my granddaughter Victoria, she has ADD and is a senior in high school. I think this would really help her in school. I would give the Balance & Bergamot for Centered Liveliness to my daughter-in-law Vickie. She's been under a great deal of stress recently and has been on anti-depressants. The On Guard would go to another daughter-in-law Tammy (Victoria's mom) for the 5 year old twin boys that are always getting into all kinds of boy-type germs. =) The sticks would be perfect for them to keep on hand and use anytime. I want them to help my family (and myself) live a more healthy lifestyle. The two small vials I would keep to try and of course I'd have to get more EOs to refill my tin!
Thanks again for all the info and giveaways you offer!
I've been ill for a number of years and have wanted to try essential oils but they're far too expensive for me. If I were to win these I suspect my health and mental health would improve immensely. At least I hope so :)
Starting the EO pathway and love reading your blog. The sticks would be so handy to have for myself, hubby and 2 kids. We're always running here and there and everywhere! What a great to go package.
I have so many reasons I need to try essential oils. I drive a school bus and could use the Peppermint & Orange to give me a burst of energy on those long days. Also my 6 YO grandson is having a LOT of problems in 1st grade and I'm thinking he could benefit from the Balance & Bergamot. If I win, I would be so happy. If I don't win, I am going to have to give you a call and order some. The more I read about them, the more intrigued I am.
I have just recently started using EOs and this would be so awesome to add to my arsenal of products! We are an 'on the go' family and to go things are a must~
I linked the source several times on this blog post for where to buy the little roll on bottles :)
I have just started using Essential oils and love them and would love to have more of them on hand!
Loving the great outdoors and being in remote places makes us take responsibility for the well being and health of our family. Essential oils last so long and you so little an amount that the investment seems to be well worth it. It is the understanding of how to use them that has kept me at bay for so long. Thanks to Pinterest, I found you and you have helped so much. I love the idea of an arsenal of weapons in a Altoids can for our health no matter where we are!
I've been getting more into essential oils and recently came across your blog. I'm excited to get better at understanding how and when to use them!
Well I would like these because you have opened my eyes the the world of benefits of essentials oils. i find myself telling others about the benefits of oils and more then a few times getting these weird looks. If I had these to care in my purse, I could just let them give the oils a try.
That was supposed to be carry in my purse. Next time I will drink my coffee before I comment. Typing a complete thought was tough but the security thing to post comment just about did me in. LOL
I would like to try these essential oils. I have the altoid tin could use it to make another set for the small car that I use to drive to work & keep one in the larger car that we use for trips with grandkids.
I would love to try your essential oils. Mu youngest daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and her immune system barely exists, she pretty much lives on antibiotics 3 weeks out of every month. This is NOT a goo thing for her body to be on them that much, she catches every little bug or cold from kids at school so I REALLY want this to try the "Guard" me I would love the "LAVENDER" for relaxing. Thank you for this opportunity!
Just an idea, you use a lot of color in your blog, so that makes it hard to differentiate the links from the colored words. Maybe you could underline the links to make them easier to tell apart.
I have always had an affinity with herbs and oils and find they work much better than western medicines for most ailments without the harmful side effects. And On Guard will be oh so useful in the upcoming cold and flu season.
Also living in a rural community, makes it somewhat difficult to obtain the essential ingredients that one needs to make their own.
Now being housebound and mostly chairbound, little EO roll-on sticks would be a huge improvement on trying to cope with small bottles and fiddly caps. I love the simple altoid tin packaging too - so convenient. All your posts have been so informative and interesting, I would dearly like to see if the oils would help with the post stroke blues and general feelings of uselessness.
i'd love to win, because... in poland it's hard to get decent roll-on sticks that don't get clogged with oils. so it would help me out a lot :)
I would love to win because I really want to try essential oils and see what they are all about. As an RN, I am rather cynical about things but this is really appealing to me. Love not having to medicate.
I would love to win this giveaway because I am always looking for ways to skip using medications and other unnatural things to alleviate things that EO's would work great for. I have just started in the last year using and making completely natural and green things to replace all those nasty chemical filled products.
I would love this giveaway because I really want to try them!
Growing up doctors were only for yearly school physicals and now that I am wife and mother doctor visits are a monthly event due to various health issues each of us have developed. I NEED to learn more about these and give them a try. Hopefully, I can find some good oils that work and then I can share with extended family and friends.
My slow journey into essential oil usage is finally starting to pick up and I'm having a blast learning about everything! I used to carry around what everyone jokingly referred to as a "purse pharmacy". It was funny at the time, but now I'm starting to shift my way of thinking about wellness. I would LOVE to win this giveaway! It would be a great jumpstart into revamping my "pharmacy" hahaha!
I'd love to own my own EO sticks so that they're readily available on the go (that's probably cliche, I know!) I'm slowly trying to learn how to live a more natural lifestyle. Baby steps! This kit would be one of those many baby steps!
I have recently begun to dabble in essential oils and so far I am really loving the results! I lead a primal/paleo lifestyle and feel that essential oils and their uses are a natural progression of my lifestyle. My kids could definitely use the focus and calm from time to time when we are out and about, lol.
Penny, will you please email me at rebecca@campwander.com. I need to send you some information! Thanks :)
I'm slowly easing my way into using essential oils to help my family and myself feel better without resorting to traditional medications. I'm not having much luck with my son but it's something to aim for especially with him having a hard time focusing at school. Having them in a small ready to go anywhere travel case would be even better at making sure that I have them on hand for anything that comes up.
I've dabbled a bit in essential oils and through your blog, I am learning when and how to use some of them. Winning this and knowing what to do with it would be a wonderful addition to my beginning stages of essential oils.
Like many others, I am just starting to learn of the many benefits of essential oils. As a mother of 3 who is always on the go, it would be great to have the travel kit and all of the "essentials" on hand all the time. I have also recovered from GBS and know the importance of peace of mind and having it when I need it! Thanks for the idea and all of the info. Keep it coming :)
I would love to win this tin of EO because it includes two things I am very interested in. 1.Recycling (Altoid tin) 2. Essential oils for therapeutic uses (both mental the physical). I am restocking my emergency kit in my vehicle and this teeny tiny tin would be a great little addition with huge benefits! Thanks for making this offer!
Nikki O.
I would love to win this tin because I don't have any small vials of eo in my purse emergency kit and I feel it is important to have these valuable oils included! Thanks for the opportunity!
I've always loved the smell of EO's but didnt' really understand how useful they could be! I use them in my hand-made soaps, but have recently started taking them internally, and rubbing them on my temples (Lavender and Peppermint). I am loving your blog--I'm learning so much and I can't wait to learn more :)
I would love to win the tin to have help while on the go. I could really use the Balance & Bergamot since this is where my disability lies. I am anxious to try the other oils and I think the Med Kit in a tin is a great idea.
I would love to win this because I'm interested in learning more about EOs and this would be a great way to experience a couple different ones so I can decide where to start :)
I would love to win these for long car rides and helping me focus.
I would love these to help with some major mood issues that have been cropping up lately and especially to help calm me when I go in for job interviews and get hit by the "no one in their right mind would ever hire worthless me" bug on the way to the interview. I am desperate to find a way to start using natural things to help with depression and anxiety (especially the bleed over that my poor kids suffer from) and to help with other attitude and mood issues throughout the house and when we are commuting.
I'm just starting to learn about essential oils and would LOVE to win this little tin! We are dealing w/ so many food and chemical allergies that I think EOs are the best thing for us to try now!
I love essential oils! This sweet kit would go to my son and his wife-they are teachers (in the same school) and would be blessed to have this through out their day.
I am just starting to experiment with essential oils - my three sons were all born with a syndrome that has many medical complications...my middle son has had the most difficulty with it and takes many medications daily...He does get highly stressed and frustrated and maybe these would help him. Since the schools dont allow the kids to use medication and I would not trust them to medicate my kids...this seems much safer for him and my peace of mind!!
I would love to have a travel tin of essential oils to use any time I need them! Even though I am in the medical field, I am starting to explore alternative medicine.
I would love to win the essential oils because I am slowly but steadily moving into a more natural lifestyle with my husband. This would be the next best step I could take in that direction. We have fallen into the traps of commercialized products that waste our money for too long. We are ready to stop that habit! We are ready to use God's creations for our benefit as He intended them to be used!
I have reading your posts and learning more and more about EOs. This would be the perfect compliment in aiding my family in the direction of not using medications and using more natural remedies. Thanks for the giveaway!
I have started using essential oils and herbs when I was a teenager to study for exams, or ward off the terrible migraines I have always had. As I got older it sort of fell by the way side for me, until I got pregnant with my daughter in 2009. Knowing I was bringing a new life in to the world I wanted to keep her as healthy and chemical free as possible. I've done my best to eliminate all chemical things from our home (like deodorant, cleaners, etc.) and use essential oils such as Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Peppermint every day in our lives. I would love the opportunity to become familiar with new oils and blends - as I am striving to do on my own - and be able to teach both my children while they are young about the benefits of essential oils so they may past it on to their own children some day.
I love your blog. Thanks for all the opportunites to win these great products. We travel frequently and would use these often.
This is an excellent idea! I have my very own bottle of On Guard being shipped to me (thanks to your blog!) and am very excited to give it a try! I want to learn more about EO's so I can integrate them into my daily routines and this would really help! :)
Thanks for your awesome blog. <3
I just love the idea that kids can use these on their own. Give them a chance to help themselves feel good.
Would love to bring healthy alternatives to the family ~ especially on the go!
Thanks for the opportunity to win this item. I'd love to start my collection of essential oils with some of the best!
I'm new to EO but am excited about learning more about them! I have just picked up peppermint and it has been helpful already!
Bummer, I missed the give away. Now I need to work on my own kit.
I looked at the site for purchasing the roll on vials. They only had one's available in clear. How important is it that they be colored? Does it change the oil's effectiveness?
Clear glass is fine, but keep them out of sunlight as the sun will break down essential oils.
I am having the same issue with the roll on bottles. Did you find the blue ones on aromatools.com ?
Karli, yes...I bought them through Aromatools. I noticed that the blue ones have been sold out since convention though.
Bed bugs are one of the nastiest creatures I have ever encountered on this planet and you can never imagine the kind of pain it can cause you and your family if you were to suffer from bed bugs bites and have these bed bugs infest in your lovely home. While they may seem like harmless little tiny creatures when you first spot them on your bed but they will soon turn into your biggest nightmare if you do not take steps to exterminate them upon discovering their existence.

I really want to get started with EO'S but have a very tight budget. If I can prove to my hubby how well they'll work for me I think I'll be able to make room for them in the budget. I have a lot of medical problems and really want to start to use eo's for them.
Thank you for the idea! We use essential oils all the time at home, and I have been trying to think of a way to keep them with me. This would work perfectly!
