Holiday Overindulgence Remedies & Blends

I'm not going to lecture...

...or even try to convince you to go easy on yourself tomorrow, there's just too much food to sample and too many relatives to please.  Well...maybe a mini lecture...

All Things in Moderation.  Amen.
(depending on your interpretation)

Essential oils won't cure our lack of poor judgement but we can certainly make our lives a heck of a lot more pleasant during the aftermath by aiding digestion, hydration etc.

First and foremost, drink lots of water ~ with a drop of  Lemon essential oil in each glass.

Keep your body hydrated after all that salty food and wine also, enjoy the gentle detox that Lemon essential oil provides.

A blend of essential oils are really nice in a cup of warm tea with a little honey...especially when calming an upset tummy.  Use a pretty cup (just because), add 2 to 3 drops of the following "Did I Really Eat All That? - Food Coma!" blend along with honey to taste.

Honey Tea with Essential Oils

10  drops Wild Orange or Tangerine
2  drops Peppermint
2  drops Ginger
5  drops Lemon
3  drops Coriander

Use 2 to 3 drops of the blend with honey and feel your tummy settle.
Might I suggest that you multiply the recipe x10 and keep a bottle handy for the rapidly approaching Holiday season?

...of course we love DIY Digestive for all things stomach related too!

"Morning After" EO Epsom Salt Bath Blend

2 drops Rosemary
3  drops Lavender
2 drops  Lemon
1 cup Epsom Salt

Add all ingredients to a warm bath and soak for a good long time!

Merry Thanksgiving Eve!
