CW Holiday Salve Sampler!

By Request...

I know for many of you the thought of whipping up jars of salve is unwanted pressure during the Holidays, our time is short and the "to do" list is long!  With the help of my daughters Tiffany and Jen we've come to your rescue with a sampler of CW favorite salves to share with your family and friends.  An easy way to share your love of EOs that everyone on your list will enjoy!

All Purpose Healing Salve
___________________________

This is the recipe that started it all, I refer to this as the "workhorse" salve.  It's anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-septic and moisturizing.  This one's a tried and true favorite and about as versatile as they come.  If you'd like to try your hand at making your own salve, it's EASY!  For instructions: {click here}.

Dreamy Sleep Salve
___________________________

Our second most popular CW salve blend is Dreamy Sleep Salve. This little number was designed out of necessity!  I have a favorite sleep blend that could destroy a roller bottle faster than anything.  My solution?  Add Dream Blend to a salve base, ditch the roller bottle and enjoy the added bonus of soft feet!

Anti - Age Salve
___________________________

The anti-age salve includes FrankincenseLavender and Cypress essential oils. All combined creates a lovely blend that I use oftenWith a blend of EOs like this, your face and body will benefit from the regenerative, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties.

Naked Salve
_____________________________________

Naked Salve is free of any essential oils.  It's NAKED and wonderful!   Essential oil users employ carrier oils a lot!  Naked Salve is a very emollient carrier oil and so convenient.  A little Naked Salve in the palm of your hand, a drop or two of essential oils and you are ready for a moisturizing topical application.

Ugh, NOW you go and make up a sampler, AFTER I've already ordered (and received!) most of the supplies to make my own. Lol. That's perfectly okay, as I am planning on making some for some of the people I work with for Christmas presents.

If we wanted to make our own directly into the 1 oz. jars what are the oil ratios for each, Aging and Dream. Many thanks

Chrissy I assume you divide the drops by 4. The dreamy blend would be 22.5 drop per 1 oz so I'd round up to 23 drops.

I think I might have to try ordering this! I tried to make the salve and in did not work for me it is either pure liquid or I put it in the fridge and it is way to hard to use :( I was very disappointed. But now I can buy it for fairly cheep! Yay!

It takes a long time for the bees wax to melt I use a large wide mouth mason jar set inside a pot and I boil the water around the jar with the salve ingredients, the bees wax pellets just roll around and do eventually melt.

Hi Rebecca, I had ordered the sleep salve earlier this year for my dad. It didn't help him sleep but he swears by it for an old injury he has on his shin. Is there any way I can order just this? Thank you so much :)

Nora, absolutely. The Dream Sleep Salve can be ordered separately however, it's sold in a 4oz jar. You'll find a link to order at the bottom of this blog post :)

P.S. I'm happy to hear the salve is helping your Dad!

Great, next question... do you have a shop in GR as I am in RS and would love to skip the shipping fees :) and we usually go to Expedition Island on the weekends to walk our little four leggers...

Oh really? I'll have the salves available in the Riverside Nursery Shop when it opens but until then, we could certainly make arrangements to meet when you're here - no sense in paying shipping when we're neighbors :)
